Nutrition Services Department
The Nutrition Services Department wants to know what you think!
We are here to serve our customers, the students & their families. In order to maintain good service and to make improvements where needed we need your help! You can help Nutrition Services provide the best for your students by giving us feedback. Whenever you have a question, comment, or concern about any aspect of the meal program, let us know.
There are several ways to give Nutrition Services feedback.
Call us! You can call the main office at 879-8344 or 879-8345. We are open 7:30-4:30 Monday-Friday. Please contact the following persons for specific issues:
a) Meal Applications: Cassaundra Reed
b) Spanish Bi-Lingual Edwin Pena
c) Chinese Bi-Lingual Sue Kuang
d) Application Verification Leslie Watts
e) Check Payments Leslie Watts
Call the Nutrition Services Supervisor assigned to your student’s school site. Each school site has a Nutrition Services Supervisor who is your site’s main liaison. Please see the Supervisor Assignment List to determine you contact person. Simply find your site name and the name listed at the top of the column is your contact person and their phone number.
Fill out a comment card. The forms are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Cambodian, & Vietnamese. Once complete, you can send the comment cards to Jennifer LeBarre, Administrative Supervisor II for the Nutrition Services Department. You can send your comment card by:
a) Faxing to (510)879-1779
b) Emailing to jennifer.lebarre@ousd.k12.ca.us
c) Mailing comment card through District mail (ask your student’s school site to place in District mail)
d) Mail to Nutrition Services, 900 High St., Oakland, CA 94601 through US Mail.
If requested, you will be contacted regarding your comment card.
