HIgh School Student Abroad Information and Links   
When you go to college, you have an opportunity to go abroad for a year or semester, and get college credits. Bet you didn't know, you could do this in high school. Check the links below---you could be going to 11th grade in France, Africa, or Asia. Summer abroad programs are available too.

The Experiment in International Living  - Organization that leads 3 to 5 week summer programs for high school students to live in host families and engage in challenging cultural experiences in countries all over the world. The program themes include: community service, travel, language learning, arts, or international ecological problems. The Experiment specifically tries to diversify their student population and has scholarships available.

American Council for International Exchange - ACIS offers 4-week summer programs help on European Campuses of universities in London, Paris, Rome, Salamanca, St. Petersburg and UC Berkeley. It also has travel only programs in Europe, Australia and Costa Rica. This is an opportunity to get college credit over the summer while experiencing an exciting new culture.

Amigos de las Americas  - Amigos offers summer opportunities for high school students to engage in service projects in Latin America. Amigos also helps students fundraise the cost of the program.

Council on International Educational Exchange – Semester and 3-4 week summer programs in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Franca, Guadalupe, Peru and Quebec.
